Week 112 — Sunrise in Joshua Tree National Park

Something about this time of year makes me restless. I’m feeling the urge to get outside, find some open road, climb a mountain…just do something… I’m not sure why I always feel this way as winter starts closing in, but I do. It’s been tough to scratch this annual itch this year, so I’ve been coping by planning a trip to New Zealand, fantasizing about 5k mile road trips, and revisiting photos from prior years’ trips.

So for the second week in a row, the photo of the week is a throwback to a trip from last year. Last week’s shot was taken in Great Sand Dunes National Park, and this week’s shot was taken in Joshua Tree National Park. Here’s to reminiscing about prior trips and planning future ones! 🙂
