Day 0 — Reykjavik
Note: This is part one of a series on my experience hiking the Laugavegur Trail in the summer of 2017. You can see the other posts in the series here. Enjoy!
Before embarking on our 4-day, 55-kilometer journey, we figured it’d be best to spend a few days recovering from jet lag and getting fully rested. So, we grabbed an Airbnb (which have gotten surprisingly costly in Iceland over the last couple years) and spent a few days wandering through Reykjavik. It’s not a very large city, but it has a lot of character and an interesting vibe (it reminds me a lot of Toronto). I can think of worse ways to spend a couple days than wandering through its streets taking images and sipping coffee. 🙂
