week ten — solidarity drive

it feels like -22 outside, and the absolute last thing i want to do is go outside…that makes taking new pictures for this photo of the week thing somewhat difficult, especially given my addiction to big landscapes.  i keep holding out for a weekend of warm(er) weather, but chicago doesn’t seem to want to that to happen…

the good news is that, because i haven’t taken many new pictures lately, i’ve been combing through my photo collection to find shots for this series.  i always get something of a rush when i look back at the treasures from prior photo adventures.  typically, doing this inspires me to stop being lazy and go on more adventures, but this sentiment may have met its match in this wind chill…we’ll see, though…maybe i’ll have something new to show you next week…
