week twenty-eight — the old and the new
one of the things i love about chicago is the contrast in the architecture. sometimes you glance across the street and you see a freshly constructed new age restaurant right next to a vintage brick building with a classic fire escape. there’s something captivating about the old and the new in such close proximity.
