Photo Adventures — Attempting Longs
Last Fall, my good friend Lindsay flew out from Chicago to join me in an attempt to summit Longs Peak. The hike is long and quite tiring, but it’s not very difficult and is one of my all-time favorites. Unfortunately, gusting winds (and, admittedly, the fact that we were terribly out of shape) turned us around at the keyhole. It was still a very enjoyable day of hiking, and her visit coincided with the annual New Belgium Tour de Fat (thus the pictures of crazy people riding bikes at the beginning of this gallery), so we were able to supplement the hiking with some beer and other Colorado goodness.
Side note: As you can tell by these pictures, I’m dreadfully behind in my photo adventures posts. Hoping to get caught up soon! 🙂
FANTASTIC!
