30 Days with the Fuji X-T2: Day 13

The current WordPress weekly photo challenge is on water, and when it started raining a couple days ago I knew exactly what I needed to shoot. There’s this low spot on the brick street right by my apartment that always creates a massive puddle when it rains. Reflection shots are a little cliche, but they’re a lot of fun to play with. As I was toying with various compositions I was lucky enough to get a pedestrian entering my frame, and thanks to the portrait orientation tilting feature of the X-T2 I was able to grab this shot without laying in a pool of street water… Thanks, X-T2! 🙂
wow! What a visual trick. I had to look a few times to understand what I was seeing. I actually thought I was seeing two images imposed together. I was really trying to understand why you wanted to put the street on top of the building! Ha! What a crisp reflection!! Really love the photo!

Haha thanks! I love that surreal effect you get with reflections, especially when you have a shallow depth of field. 🙂

Great steer shot Kyle! Reminds me of the master, Henri Cartier Bresson!
