30 Days with the Fuji X-Pro3: Day 5

Today’s image features another Classic Neg film simulation shot, and it was taken just a few minutes after yesterday’s image. The venue is The Lyric, a one-of-a-kind movie theater in Fort Collins. As you can tell from the doors and bus in yesterday’s image and the claw foot tub in today’s shot, it has some interesting decor…

Its bright colors made it a great testing ground for Classic Neg, and like I mentioned yesterday I’m pretty impressed with how it’s rendering the colors. I think the bright light helps a lot, since one of my main issues with the color rendering is how it turns the shadows green. One of my other slight frustrations is how yellow/warm it turns the highlights. I like that effect when it’s subtle but in scenes like this I think it’s a little over the top.
