30 Days with the Fuji X-Pro3: Day 6

Forgot to post yesterday…whoops! Gonna post twice today to make up for it

Today’s image is another Classic Neg shot, and I absolutely love this one! This is the first of the images that I think really works well with the Classic Neg color scheme. The color contrast between the highlights and shadows really pops here. The “Ken’s” portion of the sign is in the shadow of the overhang and gets that cold blue/green color cast, and then the “Muffler” piece gets the warm magenta tint. That contrast by itself is pleasant, but the fact that it is reinforced by other elements of the image — the cool blue of the sky complements the “Ken’s” and the warm asphalt and the red garage doors complement the “Muffler” — is what I really love.
