30 Days with the Leica M10 Monochrom: Day 7
One of the photographers that I follow on Twitter posted something today that fits perfectly with today’s image:
I took this shot just after finishing a run along that canal access road. I’ve run on that stretch of road probably fifty times since moving here, and I don’t think I’ve ever made an image of it. There’s not anything objectively interesting about that road, so I never bothered to take my camera there. But to me, this road is interesting and does have meaning.
I’m so glad that I’m doing this project and have a camera like the Leica M10M that encourages me to shoot and document my daily life. I know that simple images like this one will be amongst the most important and nostalgic 20+ years down the road.
